About Aaron
I’m an Irish, London-based DJ, producer, and music educator with over seven years in electronic music. I perform regularly as a DJ and live act, host a radio residency, and my tracks have been supported by Joy Anonymous, Cameo Blush, Giulia Tess (NTS), Rinse FM, and BBC Radio 1.
I also mentor and teach emerging musicians, helping them navigate both the creative and professional sides of music. My approach is calm, structured, and supportive, with lessons tailored to your goals, whether that’s making music for fun or preparing for a career. I focus on building confidence, strong technical skills, and clarity in your creative process, grounded in real world industry experience.

My lessons are practical, student focused, and tailored to your individual goals. Whether you’re just starting out or looking to refine your workflow, I focus on helping you understand how things work in Ableton Live. Lessons combine structured guidance with hands on production, using real projects and examples drawn from electronic music.
I teach using a clear, step by step approach, covering core Ableton Live workflows, sampling, arrangement, sound selection, and track finishing. For more advanced students, lessons can focus on improving efficiency, developing a personal sound, preparing music for release, or translating studio productions into live or DJ performance. I encourage questions, experimentation, and critical listening, helping students build confidence and independence in their creative process.
Lessons typically last 60 minutes, with the option of longer sessions if preferred. Sessions can take place online or in person in London, depending on availability.
I have over seven years of professional experience using Ableton Live as a DJ, producer, and educator. My work has been supported by platforms including Rinse FM, NTS, and BBC Radio 1, and I have experience mentoring artists in both education and broadcast settings. I am also happy to continue developing my teaching practice through formal training where appropriate.
My lessons are suitable for all levels, from complete beginners to advanced producers, and for teens and adults. Whether your goal is to make your first track, improve your mixes, prepare for DJ sets, or develop a professional-level workflow, lessons are adapted to your pace and interests.
