About Aaron
I have been teaching since my time in the US Army, and I have taught too many students to count. My students have ranged from business people going to the Arab world for work to college students preparing for exams (not to mention the countless deploying troops). My students have succeded (and continue to succeed) in a variety of ways: giving presentations in Arabic, going abroad and beng able to conduct the affairs they want, reading the Quran, etc.). There is nothing more rewarding for me than to see the excitement on my students faces whenever they are able to conduct whole conversations with native speakers and be understood!

Hi! My name is Aaron, and I teach colloquial and Modern Standard Arabic. I began learning Arabic and teaching in the US Army, and after separating from the military I enrolled at UT Austin. I graduated with Honors after majoring in both Middle Eastern Languages and Current (MELC with a focus on Arabic) and psychology. I teach in a very context-based way, and I will have you reading in Arabic after 1-2 weeks (albeit at a very elementary level). I do a free consultation in order to ensure that my potential student and I are proper fit. During this initial consultation, we will discuss your goals and where you are with regards to the language.
