I tailor my teaching approach to each student’s individual needs, identifying their strengths and areas for improvement. I focus on building a strong conceptual foundation in maths and physics, using clear explanations, and real-world applications to make abstract concepts more relatable. By working through problems together, I help students develop problem-solving strategies that they can apply independently. I also incorporate past paper questions to familiarise students with exam formats and improve their confidence. My lessons typically last 60 minutes, which allows enough time to cover key topics, work through examples, and address the student’s questions. For students requiring more in-depth support, I can offer longer sessions of 90 minutes, ensuring they remain engaging and productive. I am currently an A-level student studying maths and physics, and I have a deep understanding of the content and challenges students face. I have experience assisting peers with difficult topics, and I’m confident in my ability to explain concepts clearly and patiently. As someone who has recently studied the material, I understand the expectations of the exams and can provide targeted guidance to help students succeed. My lessons are designed for GCSE students aged 14 onwards, who are looking to improve their understanding of maths and physics. Whether they need help with specific topics, exam preparation, or building overall confidence, my lessons are tailored to suit their individual goals and abilities.
