About MD
I've previously worked for 3 years as an elementary/middle school Common Core instructor at Khan's Tutorial here in Brooklyn. At my time there, I had also worked as an SAT Reading Instructor for prospective college students aiming to raise their overall test scores and landing their dream college.

I like to get to know my student first and allow them to feel as comfortable as possible. I then like to identify their weaknesses and strengths, and compose a game plan that tackles how we can both go about fixing their weaknesses while maintaining their strengths. I ensure to always foster a friendly and relaxed environment for my student as comfortability makes a huge difference in one's training potential.
I have worked with students from all backgrounds. I have worked with students within K-9 as well as special needs students in the past.
Having a previous student score above the 90th percentile on their NY State Algebra Exams was perhaps one of the fondest moments of my tutoring experience. This particular student had previously dreaded algebra, yet after working with him on a one on one basis over the course of several months, he greatly improved.
