About Emmanuel
Hi! I'm Emmanuel, a 400-level Medical Laboratory Science student with a strong passion for science, learning, and teaching. I enjoy taking complex ideas and breaking them down into simple, relatable explanations that anyone can understand.
I started tutoring because I genuinely enjoy seeing the moment when a student goes from “I don't understand this” to “Oh, now I get it!” I believe every student can learn effectively when they are taught in a way that matches their pace and learning style.
Through my experience tutoring students online and supporting learners through Light Walkers, I have developed a patient, engaging, and flexible teaching style. I teach Biology, Chemistry, and General Science, while also helping students prepare for exams, improve their understanding, and build confidence.
As a Medical Laboratory Science student, I bring a strong foundation in biological and medical sciences to my teaching. My goal is simple: to make learning less intimidating, more enjoyable, and genuinely useful.

My lessons are designed to make difficult topics simple, understandable, and enjoyable. I begin by understanding the student's current level, challenges, and learning goals, then tailor each lesson to their needs. I use clear explanations, practical examples, guided practice, questions, and active interaction rather than simply asking students to memorise information.
As a 400-level Medical Laboratory Science student with experience tutoring students online, I understand how frustrating it can be when a topic does not immediately make sense. My approach is patient and encouraging, and I am happy to explain a concept in different ways until the student truly understands it.
