I absolutely reject the idea of rote learning. What I believe is in trying to make students understand topics thoroughly with connecting those topics to real life experiences and events. Subjects which I am into is believed by many that these subjects can only be pursued by rote learning but the truth is that a teachers have to give idea, its background and objectives of the subject to their students. Also revision is must.
