About Astrid
My experience with English as a tool beyond the classroom setting. I work in the field of Public Affairs at a research institute and it is my responsibility to maintain important contacts, reach out to researchers that my department have never connected with, persuade researchers to be interviewed by me, and to ultimately interview them. It is also my job to edit the hour-long interview footage into a 10 minute video. It is my English and communication skills that help me convey their full message in such short videos. My skills can help you or your child see English from a different perspective, showing them *why* writing in a certain way is more effective than the other. I take it as my goal to show you or your child that cultivating these writing skills will transform how you view communication as a whole.

- I specialize in aiding *elementary, middle, and high school* students with proofreading their writing/essays and with reading comprehension.
- My teaching method is patient, yet productive.
- I offer easy-to-understand feedback, prompting the student to attempt to improve their writing before offering solutions to improve it myself.
- For students writing essays, I offer templates for different types of essays. I provide college-level advice on how to make the content of the essay flow and make sense to the intended audience.
- If the parents want to speak to me about their child's progress, I will talk to them for however long they need - free of cost.
