As a piano instructor, my approach revolves around fostering a deep understanding and appreciation for music while developing technical proficiency at the piano. Here's an overview of my teaching methodology and techniques:
Customization: I believe in tailoring lessons to each student's unique needs, goals, and learning styles. Whether a student is a beginner or advanced, I adapt my teaching approach to suit their individual requirements.
Fundamentals First: I emphasize the importance of building a strong foundation in music theory, sight-reading, ear training, and technique. These fundamentals serve as the backbone for all future musical endeavors.
Repertoire Selection: I carefully select repertoire that aligns with the student's interests, while also challenging them to explore new genres and styles. This helps keep lessons engaging and motivating.
