About Sofia
Hi, my names Sofia and I'm a 3rd year medical student at the University of Glasgow!
I found my school exams extremely stressful at the time, and actually struggled a lot with how and what to revise! But with the right guidance, I learnt that exams can be your time to shine. When I learnt the best ways to revise, and resources I should be using, I achieved straight A's throughout my national 5, higher and advanced higher exams.
I was in your position just 5 years ago, and I have since tutored many different pupils - so I am up to date and knowledgable on the course. Studying medicine means I now know a great deal more about the human body and have learnt some great tips and tricks to remember all those difficult facts.
I would love the opportunity to help others to achieve their goals with exams!

Excelling in your exams is all about practice, the SQA can be really tricky with the words and phrases that need to be used so its very important to learn your material from the SQA course specification. Spaced Repetition and Active Recall is the best, evidence-based way to study. That basically means revising content over a longer period of time, and trying to remember content without looking at notes.
I have 3 years of tutoring experience, tutoring for human biology as well as medicine applications. I have learnt a lot of tips, tricks, and wisdom over this time that I can hopefully pass onto you!
I truly believe everyone is capable of doing well in their exams, I personally found higher Human Biology really tricky and now study medicine !
