I am three years into a Bachelor of Commerce, majoring in Accounting and Banking with a CWA in the high 70's, and I've helped a few friends and students in an unofficial capacity understand particular concepts in those fields effectively

My classes will prioritize gaining a conceptual understanding of the subject matter above all else, so that there aren't gaps in one's knowledge that might affect more advanced future studies. I generally introduce concepts through examples of how they're applied in the real world, and link the techniques and methods to the problems that they have been designed to solve. I only like moving to example questions when I'm confident that a student can answer them completely based on what I've taught them, but I am always patient and open to specific questions to fill any gaps in understanding that arise for whatever reason.
