About Zsofia
I am a third-year undergraduate, finishing my Biomedical Sciences degree at Newcastle University.
My main goal with teaching is to support students who want to improve not only their understanding but also how they approach learning as a whole. I want to help students feel more in control of their studies, build confidence in their abilities and achieve results that reflect their full potential.

My tutoring approach is centred on delivering high-impact, results-driven sessions tailored to GCSE and A-level students in Biology and English. I focus on developing both subject mastery and advanced exam technique. A key focus of my teaching is exam performance. I train students to think like examiners, to understand mark schemes and refine answer structures in a way that maximises marks. My sessions include regular timed practice, detailed feedback and targeted strategies to improve clarity, depth and accuracy.
My lessons are typically 60-90 minutes to allow for in-depth teaching and focused exam practice within each session.
I am currently completing my undergraduate degree, with a strong academic background in both Biology and English. Alongside this, my experience in professional English Language tutoring for international students has refined my teaching abilities and ability to adapt to individual learning styles.
My aim is to provide a focused, supportive and high-standard learning environment where students can develop confidence, precision and the skills required to achieve their full academic potential.
