About Akhona
I am a 3rd year accounting student. I have been part of a mentoring program since 2015, mentoring grade 9 and 10 from different schools in Khayelitsha, about resilience and self-empowerment. The program is called Resilient Network founded by Professor Lullu Tshiwula at UWC.

So in my lessons, I always strive for two-way communication because I believe that we always have something to learn from each other. Akhona would be a good tutor because she helps me with my school work and she is a passionate and understanding person.
As an accountant student myself. I have received assistance from Akhona with accounting and other related subjects. She is very patient and good at explaining. I'm surprised she doesn't have any teaching qualifications. She is good with people.
