About DAISY
I'm Daisy, a second-year Veterinary Nursing and Companion Animal Behaviour student at the University of Bristol with a passion for biology, animal health, and welfare. I have a particular interest in helping animals and understanding the science behind their behaviour, health, and care.
As someone with dyslexia, I understand that learning can be challenging and that everyone learns differently. My own experiences have taught me resilience, effective study techniques, and the importance of finding an approach that works for the individual.
Outside of my studies, I enjoy music and spending time with animals. In the future, I hope to continue my education by completing a Master's degree in Wildlife Biology, combining my interests in animal welfare, conservation, and scientific research. I am enthusiastic, approachable, and committed to helping others achieve their academic goals while developing confidence in their abilities.

My lessons focus on developing a strong understanding of Biology, helping students build confidence in challenging topics and improve their exam performance. I tailor each lesson to the student's individual learning style, using clear explanations, practice questions, and exam techniques to support progress at GCSE and A-Level. As a student with dyslexia myself, I understand that learning can be different for everyone and aim to create a supportive, patient environment where students feel comfortable asking questions and learning at their own pace. Whether you need help with cell biology, genetics, evolution, physiology, ecology, or exam preparation, my goal is to make Biology engaging, accessible, and easier to understand.
