About Juliet
I am a second-year nursing student in Dublin. In 2021, I completed my leaving cert and earned enough points but not a college place.
I was absolutely devastated and had no idea how to continue forward with my studies. I had joined a course that was for pre-nursing and which I could use again to apply for general nursing.
This course also allowed me to work on my interpersonal skills as I had to complete a short-term placement in a care home.
The course was fantastic and gave me a great introduction to what I would be facing when I got into college. The recognition of this course has qualified me as a Healthcare Assistant, which allows me to seek work in care homes and hospitals
