About Edward
About Me
I’m a first-year student at Trinity College Dublin studying European Studies, having recently completed my Leaving Certificate at The High School Dublin. I’ve always had a strong interest in languages, particularly French, and I’m now continuing my studies through French and Italian at Trinity.
Outside of college, I play football and enjoy keeping active. I’m friendly, approachable and easy to talk to, and I think that’s important when working one-to-one with students. Having only recently been through the Leaving Cert myself, I understand the pressures of it and what it’s like to be on the other side of the desk.

I recently completed Higher Level Leaving Cert French, so I know firsthand what the course is like and where students can struggle. My approach to grinds is relaxed but focused — I’ll work around each student’s individual strengths and weaknesses rather than following a one-size-fits-all approach.
I focus on making French easier to understand, building confidence and improving the areas that will make the biggest difference in exams. Whether it’s grammar, speaking, written work or exam technique, I want students to leave each lesson feeling like they’ve actually improved.
