Katherine adopts an integrated teaching style that incorporates their personality, preferences and interests into her teaching. She was consistently able to tailor her tutoring for specifically for me, where she incorporated extra-curricular knowledge to develop a deeper knowledge of a particular topic.

An experience that comes to mind when I was having a lot of difficulty with essay writing and research.

My grades in writing-focused classes were getting close to failing marks. For six months, we worked intensely on improving my skills in constructing long-form writing assignments and editing.

I was REALLY REALLY struggling with my work. However Katherine inspired me. She said "Dont let what you cannot do interfere with what you can do." And I was instantly inspired. This is my motto for life until this day.

By the end of this term, my once failing grades had turned around to straight A’s. Additionally, it sparked a love of writing for me, where I was able to achieve the dux of my school.
