About Praweena
I am currently a 2nd year University Student, studying Biomedical Science, who is a motivated and responsible individual willing to help students maximise their academic success. I currently tutor students from KS1- KS3, providing group sessions ( 2-3 students maximum) as well as 1 to 1 sessions. I have received very positive feedback from students and parents regarding my teaching style and how it is has helped their child to progress quickly in a short space of time.

I spend a substantial amount of time looking at valuable resources I can use in my teaching. This includes worksheets, booklets, information, templates etc.These will then be printed out ad handed to the students. These will then be printed out and handed to the students, where I will first teach them using a textbook and explain the methods and approaches to take when answering questions. During a teaching session, I will provide with various questions for the student to answer. Further worksheets will be given as homework to be completed before their next lesson. Working with various students for over a year has made me understand that each student requires a different approach when teaching, therefore, I am able to tailor each students lesson to suit their ability. End of topics tests will be given to help students consolidate what they have learnt as well as to determine any weaknesses.
