About Dan
Hi, I’m Dan, a first-year Land Economy undergraduate at the University of Cambridge. I offer specialised support for students applying to Land Economy, including mock interviews, guidance on personal statements and SAQs, and access to the resources and preparation strategies I used successfully during my own application. Having recently gone through the process myself, I understand what admissions tutors are looking for and how to prepare confidently and effectively. I completed the International Baccalaureate Diploma with a score of 43, taking Higher Level Maths AA, Economics and Geography, and Standard Level French B, English Literature and ESS, and achieved 30/30 in Theory of Knowledge. I know first-hand how intense and demanding the IB can be, and I aim to support students throughout these challenging two years. I offer tutoring in IB, Economics, French and Geography, alongside comprehensive support with the subsequent IAs, including structure, content, and understanding the marking criteria. I also share my own flashcards, notes and revision resources, as well as practical exam, time-management and workload strategies that helped me succeed. My goal is to help students navigate the IB with confidence, clarity and the right tools to achieve their best results.

For Land Economy admissions preparation I would provide a structured system aiding all parts of the application through sessions where we would work on the personal statement, SAQ, building a knowledge base designed for the interview, and mock interviews. For IB French and economics would focus heavily on exam technique and practise papers and essays, and also teach content at whatever rate feels comfortable. For TOK I got 30/30 so would be able to edit and work through the exhibition and essay and provide detailed feedback.

The £50 an hour is solely for Land Economy mock interviews. For general Land Economy preparation it would be £30 per hour. For IB tutoring the rate is £30 per hour.
