About Sophia
Hi, I’m Sophia! I scored a 170 on the April 2025 LSAT and was accepted to five law schools, including the University of Toronto.
I just finished my undergrad degree in International Relations at the University of Calgary and I am currently working in corporate (I love my job and have been working for my current team for over a year!). I am a 2029 JD candidate attending law school this fall.
I am able to help with LSAT study, essay review, and applications.
What's the catch on my pricing? Absolutely nothing. I'm working full-time, so I'm truly interested in helping out future law students on the side. I set my rate based on what I make hourly at my day job to offset the time I spend helping students. It's crazy how much LSAT prep courses and materials are priced at when most of us prepping for the LSAT are full-time students with no income or minimum wage. I want to help offset some of that financial burden.

I offer personalized LSAT tutoring for students at any stage of their prep, whether you are just getting started, trying to break through a score plateau, or working toward a highly competitive score.
My tutoring approach is practical, patient, and tailored to each student. I focus on helping you understand why an answer is right or wrong, identify the patterns behind your mistakes, and build repeatable strategies you can use under timed conditions. Rather than relying on one-size-fits-all advice, I adapt lessons to your strengths, weaknesses, goals, and timeline.
A typical lesson may include reviewing missed questions in depth, working through specific Logical Reasoning or Reading Comprehension question types, refining timing strategies, building a study plan, or discussing how to approach full practice tests effectively. I can also help students develop better review habits so they get more value from their independent studying between sessions.
I offer free LSAT study plans and wrong answer journals to all my students and assigned homework is given as part of each lesson so you're never confused about what to study next!
My lessons are best suited for prospective law students preparing for the LSAT, especially those looking for individualized support, clear explanations, and a tutor who understands both the test and the broader law school application process.
