About Gia
I am from the breathtaking country of South Africa and I am a calm, patient, and supportive teacher who truly enjoys helping students grow. I am passionate about encouraging learners and guiding them to reach their full potential at their own pace. I am also a dedicated law student and graduated matric with five distinctions, and am 120 hours TEFL certified, which reflects my strong academic foundation and discipline. As an English tutor, I focus on building confidence, improving communication skills, and creating a comfortable learning environment where students feel motivated and supported. I understand that every student learns differently, and I adapt my lessons to suit individual goals and learning styles. When I’m not teaching English, you’ll find me in the kitchen cooking up a storm, hiking through jaw-dropping landscapes, or traveling and learning about different cultures. These experiences allow me to bring real-world conversations and engaging topics into my lessons, making learning both practical and enjoyable.
