I have been playing as a professional live and session bassist for over 6 years now, with experiences of playing with different top-tier bands and artists form Kolkata (my hometown) and Pune (where I currently reside), with gigs spanning different Indian cities.

Being a bassist is not only about playing the bass! It requires a lot more: from locking-in with the drummer to bridging the rhythm and melody sections, from playing a killer groove that makes the crowd go wild to avoiding overplaying so that you don't kill the song itself, among many other things.
I want to share the experience that I have gathered from playing with different top-tier bands and musicians over the years, which I am sure will help you become a more sensible and balanced musician.
