About DE Starlight
I am a dedicated piano teacher with three years of experience teaching both kids and adults in a private setting at home. Alongside this, I have been an ESL teacher for six years, which has honed my ability to communicate complex concepts clearly and effectively. I hold a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration with a major in Management and am TESOL certified, equipping me with the skills to teach English as a second language effectively. My unique blend of music and language teaching experience allows me to create a holistic and engaging learning environment for all my students.

I believe in a student-centered approach, focusing on creating a positive and engaging learning environment. I use a blend of visual, auditory, and kinesthetic techniques to cater to different learning styles. For piano lessons, I incorporate interactive activities, games, and repertoire that align with the student’s interests and goals.
A Typical Lesson Plan:
Each lesson typically begins with a warm-up, focusing on finger exercises and scales to build technique. We then move on to sight-reading and theory, followed by working on specific pieces chosen by the student. Each lesson ends with a recap and practice goals for the week.
