About Mehreen
I am writing to express my interest in the Academic Manager Business position. With a robust academic background and extensive professional experience, I believe I am uniquely qualified for this role.
I am a top graduate from Quaid-e-Azam University, one of Pakistan's premier institutions. My career began with Schlumberger, the world’s leading oilfield services company, which set a high standard for my professional journey. I have continuously sought to challenge myself, taking on dual roles as an academic at Quaid-e-Azam University and as a professional at esteemed organizations like Petronas.
My diverse career spans education, banking, and strategic organizations, each experience enriching my skill set. I have worked across various levels and taught a broad spectrum of programs including MBA, MPA, BBA, A Level, IGCSE, IB diploma and NCUK. My familiarity with international curricula such as those of the London School of Economics, the International Baccalaureate (IB), and the Cambridge Assessment International Education (CAIE), along with my understanding of Pakistani educational boards, makes me well-versed with the requirements of this post.
Currently, I am an A Level teacher at the British International School in Baku, which offers state-of-the-art facilities and serves a diverse student body. Despite the school’s comprehensive British curriculum, I develop specialized worksheets to enhance my students’ knowledge and exam techniques, preparing them for international academic challenges. My students have not only been accepted worldwide but have also secured 100 percent scholarship offers from prestigious international universities.
The pandemic has further refined my teaching methods. I have become proficient in virtual teaching platforms such as Google Classroom, Zoom, and Edmodo, ensuring my lessons remain interactive and engaging.
