About Elise
I have 6 years of experience teaching guitar, supported by a Bachelor of Music in Contemporary Guitar Performance. My passion for guitar began with its versatility and ability to bring rhythm, harmony, and melody together. Over the years, I have guided students from beginners learning their first chords to advanced players building confident stage skills. Teaching guitar is meaningful because it supports both creativity and confidence.
My teaching style is friendly, structured, and motivating. I focus on helping students understand technique deeply rather than memorizing patterns quickly. Learners receive clear explanations, gentle correction, and encouragement that keeps progress steady. I believe guitar learning works best when students feel inspired and comfortable exploring music. Lessons are always shaped around each student’s goals.
Outside teaching, I stay engaged through songwriting, performance study, and continual learning of new musical styles. I love seeing students grow into confident guitarists who enjoy expressing themselves freely. Music becomes a lifelong companion. My goal is to guide learners with warmth, clarity, and inspiration.

Guitar becomes exciting when students feel supported in building both skill and creativity. In my lessons, I focus on helping learners develop chord fluency, strumming accuracy, finger coordination, and musical timing. Students learn not only how to play songs, but also how to understand musical patterns so they can grow independently. I create a relaxed environment where learners feel comfortable experimenting and improving steadily. Guitar should feel joyful, expressive, and empowering.
Each lesson is tailored to the student’s level and musical interests. Beginners focus on basic chords, rhythm practice, hand positioning, and simple songs. Intermediate learners strengthen barre chords, melodic picking, timing control, and expressive phrasing. Advanced students explore improvisation, solo development, songwriting skills, and confident performance preparation. I include structured practice routines, real-song application, and supportive feedback to ensure consistent progress.
Over time, guitar lessons help students build patience, creativity, and self-expression. Many learners feel proud when they can play music that reflects their emotions and personality. Guitar becomes a lifelong tool for confidence and artistry. My goal is to guide students toward independence and enjoyment. Every lesson supports growth through encouragement and clear direction.
