About Rachel
Hi there prospective tutees!
If your child (or yourself!) struggles with modern languages, look no further. I have loved languages all my life and know how to instill that love in others. I have a first class Bachelor's degree in French and German from the University of Bristol and am about to graduate from the University of Bath with a Master's degree in Translation and Interpreting. In the past, I have also taught at a German school, which included one-on-one tutoring for certain pupils.
These qualifications aside, I have a deep love of French and German culture and can help you or your child find new ways to complement your learning, such as watching foreign films, eating foreign food, and learning about the culture. Believe it or not, these are essential parts of getting those all-important grades.
I know that languages can be tricky. The grammar can be frustrating; you don't want to speak up in case you make a mistake; you'll never learn the difference between the indicative and the subjunctive... Fear not, I'm here to help!
