About Sami

From newbie to confident, strong, and healthy — I know what it takes to transform your body and mindset.

I started the gym 3 years ago, going from 70kg to a peak of 84kg after a full bulk and cut cycle, with my bench press improving from 20kg to 105kg, and going from being able to do 0 pull-ups to 20. Over the past 2 years, I’ve trained clients of all levels, including complete beginners, helping them gain muscle, strength, and confidence.

I train mainly at Colindale Gym Group, but I’m happy to travel to clients’ gyms or homes with equipment access if needed. Together, we’ll track your progress, celebrate milestones, and build a program that fits your lifestyle.

I’m passionate about helping clients not only build their physique but also develop confidence, discipline, and a positive mindset. I also offer support beyond the gym, including guidance on mental well-being, career, and life challenges, so you have someone to talk to and motivate you every step of the way.

  • What age did you start playing sport?

    I started playing sport around 5–6 years old, mainly football. Sport has always been part of my life and helped shape my discipline, confidence, and work ethic, which later naturally led me into gym training and coaching.
  • What are your favourite sports?

    My main focus is gym-based training, which I practice consistently and seriously. I also enjoy football as a hobby, and I’m interested in exploring boxing or combat sports in the future to challenge myself further.
  • What gives you the motivation and passion to pursue your sport?

    I’m driven by progress and self-improvement. Training improves both physical and mental strength, and I’m especially motivated by helping others gain confidence, structure, and long-term results through fitness.
  • Do you have a sporting achievement you’re particularly proud of?

    I’m proud of maintaining consistent training over several years while balancing university, work, and coaching. Helping others start their fitness journey and see real progress is also a big achievement for me.
  • How have your achievements and challenges made you a better sportsperson?

    Challenges have taught me patience, discipline, and adaptability. They’ve helped me understand different fitness levels and goals, which makes me a more effective and understanding coach.
  • If you could jog with a famous athlete, who would you choose?

    I’d choose Muhammad Ali because his success is built on consistency, discipline, and focus over many years. I’d ask how he stays motivated through daily training, how he maintains discipline even at the highest level, and how he handles pressure while continuing to improve.
  • How do you help people stay motivated?

    I keep people motivated by setting realistic goals, tracking progress, and adjusting plans when needed. I focus on consistency, encouragement, and making training enjoyable rather than overwhelming.
  • What makes you a Superprof in sports?

    I’m reliable, disciplined, and genuinely invested in my clients’ progress. I tailor training to the individual, communicate clearly, and lead by example through my own commitment to fitness.
